BLA is my recruitment business. I lead client and candidate relationships, and partner with a network of associates to provide tailor-made expertise.

Barry Latchford Associates was founded in 1980 and soon became established as a recruiter that understood the exacting requirements of the professional services sector. Under Barry Latchford’s leadership the firm had particular success recruiting for the growing Technology Consulting market, and helped to build practices in Coopers & Lybrand and Ernst & Young in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.
I joined the business in 1996 and worked with Barry Latchford until his retirement. I became a Partner in 1999 and took full ownership in 2009.

I have been privileged to work with the premier brands of the consultancy and corporate world and have experience with financial services, public sector and commercial sector searches. I have been responsible for delivering numerous high-level Partner, Practice Leader and Business Development campaigns, primarily searching for consultancy talent for external and in-house roles. I manage search campaigns for major clients across a variety of competencies including Strategy, HR, Technology, Operations, Finance, ERP and Analytics.

For me, BLA stands for long-term relationships and working in partnership. We become a trusted advisor to many clients and candidates, and fully respect the privilege and confidentiality this brings. We work with organisations and individuals at key stages of their development, and aim to be a trusted partner throughout.
